The Cour du Pré Carré is a famous and ancient area of Annecy. In times past, it was the home to coaching inns where men and their horses sought a well-earned rest and where the locals came to eat at the Pré Carré des Lavorel inn. Today, the Cour du Pré Carré, situated between the streets of Vaugelas et Sommeiller still maintains its atmosphere of serenity and friendliness, seemingly far from the summertime bustle and noise of the surrounding high street shops.
Georges Paccard and his wife Marie founded la Ciboulette
in this pleasant square in 1986. Since then, la Ciboulette
has been enlarged, transformed and improved. Today, their passion for the profession, their enthusiasm and their pride in using only the finest products are ever-present. A long history which has been justifiably rewarded by a Michelin Guide star since 2007.
